Running a bakery has been one of my life’s most amazing and difficult dreams. Business was sort of slow when I was starting up and I was working two other jobs just to stay afloat the first few months. But ever since our store has gained some traction, I’ve been able to relax down to just working my regular hectic schedule. I’ve been at my corner for about 4 years and have plenty of regulars but I have recently been thinking about trying to expand.
There’s no way that I have enough revenue for a second “brick and mortar” store but I have given some thought to maybe a mobile station. I was searching around for information on food trucks but I don’t think that they are the most bakery friendly ideas. Instead, I’m going to setup a couple of corner side bakery tents maybe our logo on the side and do a kind of bagel/donut on the run stop.
